Highlander Robotics held an Engineering Lab Fundraiser for Piedmont High School, hosted by Piedmont Makers and raised $420,000 for the Mary G Ross Engineering Lab. 8033 team members demonstrated their robot and talked about the FIRST Robotics Competition to potential donors and the school board.

2019-2022 We regularly write articles in our local papers, the Piedmont Post, and the Exedra, which is a local news website. Our team members continue to serve as mentors to local FTC and FLL teams.

Hosted by Piedmont Makers, the Founders of the Highlander Robotics talked about the FIRST Robotics Competition program to drum up interest in our community.
2019 Season
Highlander robotics toured Creator Burger, Abundant Robotics, and attended Spartan Series. These field trips help to inspire our team and encourage a new level of creativity.
